When will Groundfloor offer investments in my state?

Last Updated: Jan 12, 2018 04:46PM EST
On January 9, 2018, we announced that our offering has been qualified by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission under Tier II of Regulation A, enabling us to offer loans to investors nationwide for the first time. This is an important milestone not only for Groundfloor as a company, but for individual investors nationwide as well.

For the past two years, we have been limited to offering our securities in 8 states and Washington D.C., with concurrent state and federal qualification. It has always been our goal to offer Groundfloor investments to the nation at large. Having now qualified under Tier II, we have tripled our addressable market and opened the way to offering in all 50 states.

We are deeply appreciative of our investors' support of Groundfloor over these past years as we have grown, and we are sensitive to the needs of our investor base as we strive to match loan supply with demand. We will only be releasing loans to you, our current investor base, while we continue to expand our loan origination capacity. Everyone else is on a waitlist.

If you are a new investor, you must first join the waitlist by activating your account to gain access to Groundfloor investments. After activating your account, just hang tight. We will let you know when it is time to take the next steps after that. Over time, we will begin allowing a controlled number from the waitlist to begin investing with us every month as we continue to scale and grow our supply of loans. This means current investors should not notice a material change in the time our loans take to sell out, as we will pace the growth in our investor base to match our growth in loan supply.
