How Automatic Investment works

Last Updated: May 23, 2017 03:15PM EDT

To help investors invest before loans sell out, and to enable easy portfolio diversification, Groundfloor now allows investors to auto-invest in loans. Auto-investments (AI) take place when the loans are first released, and are first in line to get their allocations.

Here’s how it works:
  • On the auto-investing schedule screen, choose the amount you would like to invest in each loan of each different grade
  • These allocations will take place immediately when the loans go live
  • To ensure you don’t run out of funds, you can also set up an automatic funds transfer schedule as well, to automatically deposit funds into your Groundfloor account each month.
  • When it runs the first time, Groundfloor AI will automatically invest in any loans currently on the platform that are within the parameters you have set, but which you haven’t invested in yet.
