What happens if I don’t have sufficient funds? How will my various auto investments be allocated? In what order?

Last Updated: May 23, 2017 03:02PM EDT

If you don’t have sufficient funds to auto-invest in all of the loans that are released, then Groundfloor AI will invest all available funds down to a zero balance, grade by grade starting with the highest grade. Once each successive grade level is fully invested, it will move down to the next lower grade and continue investing in each grade until the funds are exhausted (e.g. if you were scheduled to invest $1000 in every C loan and $2000 in every D loan, but only had $1500 in your account when the AI ran, it would invest $1000 in the C loan and then would move up and invest the remaining $500 in the D loan).

When you deposit additional funds, Groundfloor AI will not top up your investment to the full amounts prescribed in your AI schedule, as these loans have already been through an AI investment, and AI investments only run once per loan. If you deposit additional funds and would like to invest more in any specific loan, please manually invest more in each loan you’d like to top up.
