Some loans selected for inclusion in the bond were previously held, on a fractional basis, by investors in LROs or the Flywheel Portfolio. Those investors will benefit from the bond issuance by having their investments repaid in full, with full interest accrued through the date of repayment. Investors will have the opportunity to reinvest the repayment proceeds on the Groundfloor platform or withdraw, at their discretion.
Additionally, Groundfloor used the capital from the bond issuance to deliver value to long-time investors value in another tangible way: by offering liquidity, at a set discount, on their oldest investments in loans originated in 2021 or earlier.
