To transfer funds out of your IRA account, please complete the following:
Log in to your Groundfloor IRA to confirm that you have cash available in 'Total Cash Available' to withdraw from.
Please download the form below and complete in its entirety. Make sure you have your IRA account number on hand. The IRA account number is a 6-digit number, provided by Forge Trust.
Email the completed form to support@groundfloor.us and a member of our team will confirm when it has been received. You can also set up a time to chat, Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm EST.

After Groundfloor has wired the funds to Forge Trust, you will need to coordinate with Forge Trust for the next steps, including potentially transferring the funds to another custodian. This involves contacting Forge Trust directly and following their instructions to manage the funds effectively. Remember, any withdrawal not part of a trustee-to-trustee procedure is considered taxable income. Consult a tax advisor for more guidance.
Please note that our finance department sends funds to Forge Trust on Mondays & Thursdays.
** This process CANNOT be completed through the regular funds transfer process, as IRAs are entirely separate vehicles that are highly regulated.
