When you log in to your Groundfloor IRA account, select "Contribute & Transfer" to fund your IRA account. Our site will then guide you through how to fund your account. This process takes on average 3-4 weeks from start to finish.

There are three methods to fund your Groundfloor IRA account.

  1. Deposit: Make a direct contribution via check. The address & wire information can be found here. Please note you will also need to include this form.

  2. Transfer: To transfer funds from another IRA account,Please send the following to transfers-in@forgetrust.com:

    B. A recent copy of your statement from your source custodian.

  3. Rollover: To rollover funds from a qualified retirement plan such as a 401k, 403b, 457, defined benefit plan, profit sharing plan, etc -
In our experience, it has been easiest for users to reach out to their source custodians first to have them push the funds to Forge Trust, our custodian.

Please note there is a first time contribution minimum of $25,000. Future contributions may be made in $1,000 increments.
