When you log in to your Groundfloor IRA account, select "Contribute & Transfer" to fund your IRA account. Our site will then guide you through how to fund your account. This process takes on average 3-4 weeks from start to finish.
There are three methods to fund your Groundfloor IRA account:
Make a direct contribution via check.
Transfer funds from another IRA.
Rollover funds from a qualified retirement plan such as a 401k, 403b, 457, defined benefit plan, profit sharing plan, etc.
Please note there is a first time contribution minimum of $25,000. Future contributions may be made in $1,000 increments.
