Groundfloor investors are repaid in lump sum by the borrower. Investors receive a one-time lump sum payment of principal invested plus earned interest. At the end of each tax year, Groundfloor sends investors a 1099-INT form in accordance with regulations set forth by the Internal Revenue Service.
