General Funds Transfer Information

To get my money out of your account, you can transfer the funds out the same way you transfer funds in when it comes to either sub-account.

Due to security and the safety of our investors, please note that funds must remain in the Groundfloor account for up to 10 business days before they can be transferred out. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If the funds are currently invested as "Money at Work" in your Account Summary, the funds are not eligible to transfer out because they are currently invested. Once the investments have completed repayment and are accrued in your Cash On Hand, you’ll be able to transfer the funds out. To accrue funds in your Cash On Hand, be sure automatic reinvesting is turned off.

Please note: We do not offer automatic withdrawals from your Groundfloor account to your bank account. You can set aside a specific amount of funds you wish to remain liquid for you manually withdrawal.

To transfer funds to and from your Groundfloor Account, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the circled arrow icon labeled 'Transfers'

  2. Then, click on the blue 'New Transfer' button underneath the sub-account you wish to complete a funds transfer for.

  3. Select if you would like it to be a one-tine transfer, or a recurring transfer.

  4. Select the account you would like funds transferred from.

  5. Select the account you would like funds transferred to.

  6. Choose one of the selected amounts, or provide a custom amount in the text box.

  7. Click submit.
